ADULTS
Our ballet classes are a fun, fast paced and modern approach on ballet class. All classes include a quick dynamic warm up, barre and center work to build strength, flexibility and coordination. This 45 minute class will allow you to move your body in new and different ways, challenge your mind, feel the burn and get a bit sweaty.
We offer multiple levels of adults ballet class
Open is our signature class, providing challenging combinations and exercises. This class utilises some established ballet knowledge to engage with ballet technique, movement quality and musicality.
Basics is focused on the basic building blocks of ballet knowledge and technique to workout the body in new, fun, creative and challenging ways. Perfect for beginners, those new to dance or just getting back into ballet, as well as those keen to work on their basic technique or pointe work.
Barre is a ballet based strength and conditioning workout at the barre. Create long lines and a strong body with this high intensity, low-impact, head-to-toe barre workout. Fusing ballet, Pilates, yoga and fitness to work our smaller muscles groups through isolated, bodyweight workouts.
STUDENTS
Our ballet curriculum is Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) based and focused on building the technical and creative foundations of ballet. TSK is Kiama's only R.A.D specialised studio. Originating in the UK, the R.A.D is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world.
Curated by our R.A.D trained ballet teachers, our student streams move through the R.A.D grades. Our TSK curriculum gives students additional milestones and training to enhance their R.A.D experience.
